Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 June 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Sightline (“Service”), provided by Granite Marketing (“we”, “us”, “our”), a UK-based business trading as Granite Marketing. By subscribing to or using Sightline, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

Sightline is a subscription service that delivers personalised ESG and sustainability intelligence — including a daily morning brief, mention alerts, weekly summaries, monthly trend reports, and quarterly briefings — tuned to your business, competitors, and regulators. The specific deliverables included depend on the subscription tier you purchase.

3. Subscriptions and fees

Sightline is offered in three subscription tiers:

  • Solo — £299/month
  • Team — £799/month
  • Enterprise — £1,999/month

Annual subscriptions receive 2 months free on any tier. All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) and exclude VAT where applicable.

4. Payment

Subscription payments are processed via Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe directly; Granite Marketing never stores, processes, or has access to your payment card information.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, on the anniversary of your subscription start date. If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry and may suspend access until the outstanding balance is settled.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. There is no minimum term. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until then.

After cancellation, your workspace remains in read-only mode for 30 days in case you change your mind. After 30 days, your workspace and its associated data are permanently deleted. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to ensure Sightline is available and performs reliably, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime SLA. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Scheduled maintenance, third-party outages, and force majeure events may cause temporary unavailability.

7. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information during onboarding and keep your account details up to date.
  • Ensure you have the right to upload any documents you provide (business plan, sustainability report, competitor list).
  • Use Sightline in compliance with applicable law and not for any unlawful purpose.
  • Keep your access credentials secure and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the documents, configuration, and feedback you provide to the Service. You grant Granite Marketing a limited licence to process this content for the sole purpose of delivering the Service to you.

Granite Marketing retains all rights to the Sightline software, classifier models, infrastructure, source curation, and any derived aggregate insights that do not identify your workspace or contain your confidential content.

9. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared in the course of providing or using the Service. We will not disclose your workspace content to any third party without your written consent, except where required by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Granite Marketing arising out of or in connection with the Service shall be limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, however arising.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination by us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service with notice if you materially breach these Terms (including non-payment) or use the Service in a way that creates risk for other customers or for us.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may evolve the Service over time, including adding, modifying, or removing features. We may update these Terms; if we make material changes we will notify subscribers by email before the changes take effect.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
